Nicholas Venezia is a photographer based in Connecticut and New York, working with design firms around the country.
The purpose of his studio is to create emotive, ambitious images informed by narrative and reason. He works closely with architects, interior designers, landscape architects and artists to produce enduring documentation.
Trained in architecture in the Pacific Northwest, Nicholas spent over a decade working on strategy and communications for high-profile architecture firms in New York City, including eight years with Selldorf Architects where he helped win international design competitions, public and private commissions, industry awards and extensive publicity. His photographs have been published in AN Interior, Architectural Digest, Architectural Record, Domino, Dwell, Galerie, New York Magazine, PIN-UP, Surface, The Architect’s Newspaper, The Art Newspaper, The New York Times, Vogue, and Wallpaper*, among others.
